We are looking for an experienced machine learning and AI leader who will build and lead our AI team and bring our bold ideas to life. As the head of our AI team, you will take a leading role in building and envisioning our core product – a personalized AI researcher for complex medical cases. Working closely with medical domain experts, you will have an exciting opportunity to contribute with your technological background to advancements in healthcare and the treatment of complex medical cases.
What you will do
Build and lead our AI team, recruiting new team members and managing the team’s members and responsibilities
Design, manage, and contribute to our core technological capabilities and our data & ML infrastructure
Conduct hands-on AI research on proprietary medical data as well as academic literature and additional publicly available medical documents
Collaborate with key product, medical, and technological stakeholders in the company
Main tech stack: Python, langchain, Llamaindex, Pinecone, MongoDB, AWS, various LLM (Llama, Mistral, OpenAI, Anthropic)
Required Qualifications
MSc or Ph.D. degree in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience
7+ years of experience in R&D positions – preferably in ML engineering or data science roles
2+ years of experience in managing AI/ML engineering/ Data science teams
Extensive experience with Python and data science/ML frameworks
Recent knowledge, familiarity, and working experience with GenAI, LLMs, RAG, and relevant tools – preferably also with multi-agent architectures

Join the new AI team at Medint
We are looking for an experienced machine learning engineer to join our new AI team. As a senior and founding member of our AI team, you will take a big part in building and designing our core product – a personalized AI researcher for complex medical cases. Your role will encompass design & development of agent-based AI applications, ML & Data infrastructure and pipelines, and work with both proprietary and public medical data. Working closely with medical domain experts, you will have an exciting opportunity to contribute with your technological background to advancements in healthcare and the treatment of complex medical cases.
What you will do
You will be responsible for the design and development of multiple core AI components in our company, utilizing and nurturing your expertise in engineering and AI
Develop and maintain our data & ML infrastructure and pipelines
Build agent-based AI systems and evaluation methods that leverage our proprietary medical data and the available continuous feedback of medical domain experts
Collaborate with developers, data-scientists, medical experts, and product stakeholders in the company

Required Qualifications
BSc degree in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience
4+ years of experience in R&D positions – preferably in ML engineering or within data/ML product teams

Recent knowledge, familiarity, and working experience with GenAI, LLMs, RAG, and relevant tools – preferably also with multi-agent architectures
Understanding and familiarity with Transformers, fine-tuning, and evaluation methods. Preferably also recent hands-on experience
